Editing this review because I figured out the cause of my initial complaint - repeated errors when trying to use rewards points. Turns out you have to add the item to the order first, THEN use the reward to negate the charge. This is not the way other fast food apps work, and could easily be spelled out in the error message, so it's still poor and counterintuitive design, but not as bad as I first stated. App is more convenient than ordering at the drive through, but barely.
Very slow. The app takes forever to navigate & gives me constant errors when trying to place an order. It would take less time to walk to the place and order. Recently, I placed an order for pickup while at the restaurant & it showed as in progress, then completed, but I never received anything. It took 2 weeks to get my refund. The service & quality have gone downhill. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Update9/22: still as chuggy and awful as ever. Absolutely no improvement or update since my last review. Jack in the box app continues to be the most insufferable fast food app on the market. The only reason to try to suffer through it is for the discounts. But it takes an extra 5-10 minutes easy. OG:Super chuggy and slow since they updated the user interface. It takes forever for a button to be acknowledged as pressed. The points are nice but I miss all the good deals that they used to have too
