Since the mobile website has steadily lost functionality and now directs you to the app to do almost all account management, you'd expect the app to be top-notch. Instead, it's barely functional. All I want to do is upgrade my plan to a higher level, but I keep getting a vague "something went wrong" error on the final purchase screen. No amount of re-signing on, uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling has helped. Very frustrating. Cricket, in trying to give you my money. Take it!
Newest version works much better. But now it is mostly just advertising for their products. I used to be able to see usage on all lines on one page. Now I have to click on them one at a time. Also, the app is painfully slow when switching. And I still can't believe that the only channel that they offer for support is through social media. NOT EVERYBODY USES SOCIAL MEDIA.
Cricket Wireless as a whole has been a reliable phone company. The app, however, always gives me issues every time I try to add data to my hotspot. Every. Time. Now when I click on Mobile Hotspot & More Data, it is a blank screen. There is no longer an option for me to do so on the app. Multiple transactions have not processed, or it will say there is a pending order (which never goes threw) and it won't let me make any changes. I am in a very rural area and I am depending on this data for work.
