As a pilot, this is an invaluable tool! And while no forecast is 100% perfect, the ability to compare different models against one another helps create confidence in the prediction so that you know what to expect, within a standard deviation. The UI and UX are great, which makes getting and digesting the data a pleasure, not a pain. Very happy with Windy overall and the team seems to push updates regularly to improve it!
great app for wind direction and speed. great lakes region. The free version of the app always functions well for me. I have no problems with ads, or loading. Easy to navigate the app as well. My favorite weather app, overall. Would love to see the discounted price come up again. I would definitely pay the lifetime sub fee, if it were available again.
Kind of hard to navigate and I can't seem to make the widget work, but overall, it is very helpful for someone with (air) pressure-related migraines and with erratic weather such as in my area Reply: I figured out how to make the widget work, but it was difficult to figure out where to go to make the widget work so I would recommend a routine pop-up saying "You have not synced your location to the app!" and then a Click Here button to take the user to the place so they can sync.
