This used to be a 5 star app. The fix for a pop-up warning downloading video can eat up mobile data is no longer working. It keeps coming back causing to cancel over and over again. It causes lags on my smartphone. Might give it a try in the far, far future. They still need to fix their embedded player to quit nullifing default video player. A real PITA for those of us who like a great quality player over theirs or your native one.
Have been using UC for almost a decade now, and I can tell you it's one of the best apps out there for all kinds of download...Incredibly fast. The only problem however is the heavy background activity which is not so good on RAM management, and the ads! The ads are very intrusive and infinitely annoying. You click on an url and it redirects you to a meaningless ad. Maddening! Please control the ads. Otherwise this is a fantastic app.
I downloaded it because it has speed mode which I found it very useful in some website. But after the latest update, you make it more complicated and the option 'Others' doesn't work like the old one. Please do fix it. Thank you. (edit) I updated it to the latest version still can't found lite options in others website. only mobile and desktop. what we need is a simple speed mode like the previous versions. please bring it back.
